Editor-in-Chief: Adeline Miller
Adeline Miller is a 3L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and serves as the Loyola Maritime Law Journal’s Editor-in-Chief. Adeline is also the President of Loyola’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Chair of Intramural and Selections for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, and on Moot Court Staff. Adeline’s student comment, “Re-anchoring Rule B Attachment, Quasi in Rem Jurisdiction, and Maritime Banking EFTs,” will be published in the Loyola Maritime Law Journal, and her case note on Flores v. Princess Cruise Lines, Ltd. will be published in The Current after being awarded in the Journal’s 2025 write-on competition. Adeline received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Prelaw/Legal Studies concentration and minors in French and International Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she graduated magna cum laude. Originally from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, as she performs as Cajun Musician touring internationally, Adeline plans to sit for the Louisiana bar exam upon graduation.
Chief of Staff: Abigail Myers
Abigail Myers is a 3L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and serves as the Chief of Staff for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. Abigail is an Ignatian Scholar, member of Moot Court, and serves as the secretary for the Maritime Law Society. Abigail graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi as an English and Psychology double major. Abigail was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Sally Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. Originally from New Orleans, Abigail plans to sit for the Louisiana bar exam and remain in New Orleans to practice law after graduation.
Online Editor: Ethan Jeffus
Ethan Jeffus is a 3L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he serves as the Online Editor for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. Ethan was selected by Loyola University New Orleans College of Law to join the 2024 incoming Ignatian Law Scholars cohort. He is an active member of the Maritime Law Society, Federal Bar Association, and Student Bar Association. Ethan graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University. Originally from Minden, LA Ethan plans to sit for the Louisiana bar exam and practice law in New Orleans after graduation.

Graysen Cox is a 3L at Loyola University College of Law and serves as a Maritime Law Journal Case Note & Comment Editor. In addition to her time on the journal, Graysen also serves as a Teaching Assistant for Lawyering I and II. Graysen attended Louisiana State University before transferring to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Law. Born and raised in Louisiana, she plans to sit for the Louisiana bar upon graduation and return to Lafayette to practice.

Drake Troxclair is a 3L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and serves as a Comment Editor for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. In addition to his position on the Journal, Drake is a student practitioner in the Family Law section of the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic. Drake received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans. Upon graduation, Drake will sit for the Louisiana bar exam and looks forward to practicing law in New Orleans.

Substance & Citation Editor: Carly Guidry Adams
Carly Guidry Adams is a J.D. Candidate (2028) at Loyola University College of Law, attending as an evening student, and serves as one of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal's Substance and Citation Editors. Carly is a member of the Evening Law Student Association and also serves as the Vice President of the First Generation Law Student Association. Carly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nicholls State University in 2020 and currently works full time as a registered nurse. Carly plans to sit for the Louisiana bar upon graduation.

Anna Barreneche is a 3L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and serves as a member of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. Anna is also involved in Trial Ad, Moot Court, Legal Research and Writing, the Federal Bar Association, and other organizations on campus. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History from Louisiana State University and plans to sit for the Louisiana Bar Exam upon graduation. Anna is interested in the growing role of women in Louisiana’s maritime practice.
