New Year. New Look. New Content.

Loyola Current Captain's Log: January 1, 2020.

At the start of this new decade, we here at the Loyola Current want to thank you, our dear readers and subscribers, for continuing to visit us for the latest in maritime law. We honor our beginning by paying tribute to our founder, Jordan G. McFaull. Though Jordan is no longer with us, we want to keep his memory alive here on the Current. To this end, we created an In Memoriam page for Jordan, and we ask that you please visit to learn more about this incredible individual.

Furthermore, the current members of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal are excited to announce that we are chartering a new course. Our goal is to not only bring you the latest in maritime law, but we also will monitor land, sky, and space to bring you information from environmental, aviation, and space law! We hope you look forward to our new content.

We have also undergone some slight cosmetic changes and updated our personal information. If you would like to learn more about the individuals who strive to make this legal blog the best in student publications, please visit our About Us page and our 2019-2020 Board Members page.

Most of all, we truly want to thank you. If not for your insight and continued interest, we would not be able to bring you the latest case summaries and announcements in these ever-advancing fields of law. Please accept our most sincere regards for your and yours, and we look forward to hearing more from you in the coming year!

Respectfully,

Spring Gaines, Content Editor-Loyola Current
